Controversy Erupts over NEET UG 2024 Paper Leak, more than 10 suspects arrested in Patna & Mathura!

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) examination, a crucial milestone for aspiring medical students across India, has been marred by controversy yet again. Suspicions of a paper leak during the NEET UG 2024 exam held on May 5, 2024, have sent shockwaves through the education sector, raising concerns about the integrity and fairness of the examination process.

Details of the Alleged Paper Leak of NEET UG 2024 :

Reports have emerged suggesting that the question paper for the exam may have been compromised prior to the scheduled time. Concerns were raised when several discrepancies were noticed during the examination and the had allegedly circulated on social media platforms and messaging apps before the examination date.

Patna : According to a report of ZEE Bihar Jharkhand, Patna Police has registered an FIR an the investigation is going on and 5 has been arrested for the interrogation. According to the report, scholars were caught red handed during the examination and it is suspected that they were having the question paper before the examination.
According to sources, 35-40 lakhs were demanded from each students for the question paper and police has conducted raids at different locations of Kankarbagh area.

Bharatpur, Mathur : According to reports of Amar Ujala, dummy student with 6 suspects arrested during examination at Master Adityendra Government School located, Mathura. The dummy student is Dr. Abhishek, a resident of Karauli district.

A instagram page ( @ithappensinkota ) shared a video of alleged paper leak and a conversation of a student, claiming that he a received a question paper with marked answer key and later they faced harassment as they opposed the exam.

Response from Authorities:
The National Testing Agency (NTA), the governing body responsible for conducting the NEET exam, has not yet responded to the allegations.

The news of a suspected paper leak has left thousands of NEET UG aspirants and their families in a state of dismay and uncertainty.
