Everything You Need To Know About NMO AKHIL BHARTIYA VIDHYARTHI VARG(ABVV), 2024 ?

Before knowing about ABVV 2024, let’s know a little about the NMO. In Bharat’s healthcare system there’s an organization that shines for it’s strong dedication to changing medical care by combining tradition with new innovation. The National Medical Organization (NMO), founded in 1977 by two doctors and few medical students. It emerged as a beacon of change in the Bhartiya healthcare system. With its guiding principle of “Health service to Nation service (Swathya Seva se rastra seva)”, NMO has set out to transform the ethos of medical practice in Bharat.

Now come to the Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Varg. It is an annual meet organized by the NMO to train the members of NMO who have had good experience with NMO or the members who are doing good in their field and they need to do more responsible work.

Where was it organized in 2024?

With great spirits and enthusiasm, Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Varg 2024 was organized by National Medicos Organization, Haryana, in association with Kalpana Chawala Government Medical College (KCGMC), Karnal. It was held on 27 and 28 July, 2024 at Geeta Gyaan Sanshthanam, Kurukshetra.

What were the programmes in the event?

This is event was a two days event. It comprised of a lots of different abhyas. Each abhyash was taught by the senior members of NMO. The lists of the programmes were as follows:-

Who came to attend the Varg?

In this varg delegates from different prant have come. The delegates who came here were not ordinary. They were some selected members, who were nominated by their respective unit head. At this ABVV there were around 150+ delegates from 22 prant all over Bharat.

Dr. Prashant, ( Coordinator, Bihar & Jharkhand ) in conversation with Med College Darshan, said that a total of 22 volunteers participated the Abhyash Warg from Bihar & Jharkhand and these future Doctors will contribute for the welfare of our society and towards a better healthcare of our nation.

What actually happened in the Vidhyarthi varg ?

The preparation for this abhyas varg was started a long time ago. Here you will know all the work which had been done stepwise:-

  • The delegates started arriving from 26 July.
  • On 26 July all the delegated were taken to Jyotisar for light & sound show by Bus provided there.
  • On 27 July, early in the morning yoga session was there.
  • After yoga Breakfast was there at the same time registration and delegates Kit distribution also there.
  • All delegates gathered in the Auditorium for the function.
  • It was started as an interactive session by Sh. Ramesh Pappa Ji (Akhil Bhartiya Seh Sampark Pramukh, RSS Paalak Adhikari NMO) on the Topic: – Karyakarta Vikas evam karyakarta ke gun. He discussed about what are qualities a NMO member must have to do their responsibilities.
  • The second speaker was, Dr. Aruna Vanikar (President Undergraduate Medical Board National Medical Commission) on the Topic: – Family Adoption Self Directed Learning. She discussed about how the family adoption programme is working across India and medical students also getting great experience in community and social field.
  • The third speaker was Dr.Vijayendra (Member UG Medical Education Board National Medical Commission) on the Topic: – Vidhyarthi Vishay. He discussed about in medical college now professors are also have to maintain 75% attendance and a training programme to keep them up to date.
  • Dr. Yogender Malik (Member Ethics & Medical Registration Board National Medical Commission) was the fourth speaker. His topic was: – Student Grievances, Substance Abuse, et. He talked about Substance abuse in medical colleges and how to make free the campus free from it. 
  • Dr. Narendra Joshi (NMOCON 2025 organizing secretary) , He came from Udaipur to invite all the NMO members to the NMOCON 2025 which will be hold on 1st and 2nd March, 2025. He also started offline registration there with an student offer too. Dr. Punit Ji was 1st member who registered for the event.
  • Then inauguration ceremony was performed by: – Inauguration presided by Swami Gyanand Ji Maharaj & Chief guest: Dr Kamal Gupta (Honourable Minister Health, Medical education & Reasearch, Ayush , Civil aviation Haryana Government). Dr Kamal Gupta told that many medical students go out of India and they start hating the country, but he told that this country make them life, make them doctor whose loan never be paid by you. So always try to make your country proud never do anything that question your country.
  •  Dr. Ashwani Tandon (All India General Secretary NMO), was next speaker. His topic was: – Introduction and Working System of NMO and Expansion of NMO in recent years. He also had interactive session. He told that there are 780 colleges across Bharat in which we have reached. But there are still 300+ college left from our reach. He discussed about how all the members should be active in all situation. He told that NMO is working on capturing digital data of Seva Yatras. There’s development of NMO app is also under process. He talked about integration of Ayush bharat and ABHA data with NMO. He told that Yoga is also an important part of NMO now. There’s Green Drive is also a part NMO programme so that alon with saving life we can save our environment too. He talked about “NMO Vatika” under green drive.
  • The next session was taken by Swami Gyanand Ji Maharaj ( Gita Manisi) . He enlightened everyone by Gita gyan . He talked about “AAA” which stands for Active, Alert and Aware.  Swami told the delegates how to use Gita ji gyan in the field of science. Every delegate were given three books also as Prasad from swami ji which will guide to live better life and do good work in society. After his gyan vachan swami ji also had an interactive session in which he answered some queries of the delegate.
  • The next session was: – SAMUH CHARCHA IN 4 SAMUH (Guidance by Dr CB tripathi/ Dr Ashwani Tandon/ Dr Satish Middha/ Dr Puneet Agrawal) Speaker: Dr. Vinod, Dr. Gautam, Dr. Abhishek Garg, Dr. Anshita.
  • WORKSHOP, PLANTATION AND VISIT TO MUSEUM was next task. It was coordinated by Samuh Pramukh: Dr. Abhishek Gautam, Dr. Arnap Paul, Dr. Kuldeep Gupta, Dr. Yogeshwari.
  • After these entire programme all delegate were taken for AARTI AT BRAHMA SAROVAR.
  • Returning from Aarti delegates had their dinner.
  • After dinner there were: – Informal Meeting according to GAT Coordinated By : Gat Pramukhs. In this meeting all gat members were about the Mahapurush whose name is given to their gat. And also there was selection of one delegate from each Gat to speak on the given topic tomorrow.
  • Day 2 i.e. 28 July started with Aarti at the temple in the campus.
  • After aarti there was yoga session and then breakfast.
  • Then all the members again gathered in the auditorium. They were made to seat according to their samuh for SAMUH CHARCHA IN 4 SAMUH, Guidance by Dr CB tripathi/ Dr Ashwani Tandon/ Dr Satish Middha/ Dr Puneet Agrawal and Speaker: Dr. Vinod, Dr. Gautam, Dr. Abhishek Garg, Dr. Anshita.
  • Sh. Krishan Ji (Chhetra Seva Pramukh RSS) took over the stage and told the delegates on the topic: – Hamari seva ki Avdharna. He talked about inner peace. Propkar hi punya hai, do social work and live a happy life.
  • After his session there was Meeting according to GAT Coordinated by : Gat Pramukhs. In which final selection of one member has been done to represent the gat on the given topic.
  • ELOCUTION, COMPETITION & FEEDBACK started in which the selected members from each gat were given 4 minutes to speak on the given topic to their gat. After this there was feedback session in which every member were allowed to give feedback on the experience of the function.
  • Then the final stage of the programme came i.e. VALEDICTORY FUNCTION. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd had been chose and cash prize were given. Then after felicitation of all the supporting members had been done. 
  • In this way the complete ABVV (Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Varg) 2024 came to end.
