In a turn of events, the Aryabhatta knowledge University (AKU) has announced the cancellation of the 3rd-year MBBS PSM paper II (Public Health and Community Medicine). This decision comes in the wake of suspected unfair means during the examination process.
In light of the cancellation, AKU has reschedule the PSM paper 2, which is now set to take place on May 6, 2024. (as per notice no. 005/Exam./020/AKU/2012, Dated : 29.04.2024)
However, students are not happy with the the cancellation of exam as they will have to sit again for the same paper and many students have to travel more then 200kms to reach the centre, leading to unnecessary burden of stay, food etc for another few days.
Attached is the notice published by AKU, formally announcing the cancellation of the PSM2 paper and providing details regarding the rescheduled examination. As the university works to address this issue, students and faculty remain hopeful that lessons will be learned, and steps taken to safeguard the integrity of future examinations.
