Big Win, Aryabhatt Knowledge University to Revise 2022 batch MBBS Results Following the New NMC Guidelines!

In a significant development, Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) has agreed for the revision of MBBS 2022 batch results in accordance with the new CBME guidelines (click on link to read) and passing criteria set forth by the National Medical Commission (NMC) on August 1, 2023. This decision comes as a result of collaborative efforts from students led by Satyam Arya, Bihar state NMO officials, Indian Medical Association (IMA-MSN) Bihar led by Dr. Tanmay Kunj and Aman Raj, and the Med College Darshan team led by Vishwa Prakash and Ritesh Srivastava.

The revision of results aims to ensure fairness and align with the latest standards outlined by the NMC, reflecting the commitment of AKU to maintaining the highest educational standards in the medical field.

The NMC guidelines, issued on August 1, 2023, introduced new criteria for evaluating medical students, taking into account evolving standards in medical education and healthcare practices. AKU’s decision to revise results demonstrates its responsiveness to these changes and commitment to upholding the quality of medical education.

Dr. Tanmay Kunj, Convenor of IMA MSN Bihar, in conversation with Ritesh Srivastava ( Co- founder, Med College Darshan), said “Congratulations to 2022 Batch!! Due to our collective efforts, the results will be reevaluated, and many students will get benefitted from this new rule. We counselled the students, addressed their grievances, and also requested the NMC to intervene in the matter, and we succeeded. Soon, the new results will be published on AKU’s official website.”

Vishwa Prakash (Co- founder, Med College Darshan), stated “We appreciate the collaboration and constructive engagement with students, IMA Bihar, and the entire Med College Darshan team.
