AETCOM stands for Attitude, Ethics, and Communication. It is a curriculum framework developed by the National Medical Council (NMC) to promote the holistic development of medical undergraduates in India. AETCOM focuses on enhancing the essential skills of medical students beyond their medical knowledge and clinical expertise. It emphasizes the development of attitudes, ethics, and effective communication skills necessary for competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
