UGMAC-2025 : Complete Guide to NEET UG Bihar State Counselling 2025

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially released the notification for the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling UGMAC-2025. This process facilitates admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses in Government and Private Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Colleges across Bihar, based on the NEET (UG) 2025 merit list.

🔍 Eligibility Criteria:

All NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates who are:

• Permanent residents of Bihar and other states as per UGMAC-2025 guidelines
• Meet the eligibility and documentation standards as defined in the UGMAC-2025 prospectus.

🏥 Participating Institutions:

Government Medical Colleges (MBBS):

• Patna Medical College, NMCH Patna, IGIMS, DMCH Darbhanga, SKMCH Muzaffarpur, JLNMCH Bhagalpur, ANMMCH Gaya, Madhepura, Purnea, and others.

Private Medical Colleges (MBBS):

• Katihar Medical College, Narayan Medical College (Sasaram), M.G.M. Kishanganj, Lord Buddha Saharsa, Netaji Subhash Bihta, RDJM Muzaffarpur, etc.

Dental Colleges (Govt. + Private):

• Patna Dental College, Govt. Dental College Nalanda, Sarjug Dental, Buddha Institute, Mithila Minority Dental College.

Veterinary Colleges:

• Bihar Veterinary College, Patna
• Veterinary College, Kishanganj

💰 Fees Structure Highlights:

Counselling Registration Fee (Online Payment Only):

• ₹1200/- for UR/BC/EBC/EWS candidates
• ₹600/- for SC/ST/DQ candidates (Govt. colleges only)
• ₹1200/- flat for all categories in Private colleges

Security Deposit (Refundable):

• Govt. Medical/Dental/Veterinary Colleges: ₹10,000/- (UR), ₹5,000/- (SC/ST)
• Pvt. Medical Colleges: ₹2,00,000/- (All Categories)
• Pvt. Dental Colleges: ₹50,000/- (All Categories)

📝 Note: If a candidate applies for both Government and Private seats, the highest deposit amount among the selected categories is to be paid.

🖥️ Step-by-Step Application Procedure:

Step 1: Registration

• Authenticate using NEET UG 2025 details.
• OTP sent to registered mobile/email.
• Generate UGMAC ID and password.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

• Personal, contact, academic details
• Upload documents, photo & signature

Step 3: Final Submission & Payment

• Review entries → Final Submit → Pay fees

Step 4: Choice Filling & Locking

• Select colleges/courses based on preference
• Lock choices (OTP-based) before the deadline

Step 5: Confirmation & Download

• Download confirmation page, fee receipt, and choice slip

3. Caste, Residential, and DQ/EWS/SMQ certificates (if applicable)
4. Aadhar Card

6. Passport size photos (as in NEET admit card)
7. Check Slip & Biometric Report Form

💡 Key Highlights:

• Fee parity: 50% of private medical college seats will have fees equal to government colleges.
• Single Registration: Valid for both Round 1 & Round 2 of counselling.
• Editing Allowed: Only within the specified window. Old choices become null after editing.
• NRI Quota: Requires embassy certification and NEET qualification.
• DQ (PH) Quota: Must submit disability certificate from authorized centers only.
