here are some important points you need to know!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As per the schedule, National Medical Commission ( NMC ) conducted a webinar today at 2.30 PM and the Chairman addressed the issues, questions and confusion regarding NExT which is going to replace NEET PG and FMGE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A quick summary of the webinar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NEXT will be conducted in <strong>two phases<\/strong> one in May and another in November.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It will be conducted from <strong>2019<\/strong> batch onwards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NEXT 1 will be computer based <strong>MCQ<\/strong> exam and NEXT 2 will be Practical based.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A mock test will be conducted on 28th July 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mock Test Details :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registration link for mock test: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/qfcsfwRN0U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/next.aiimsexams.ac.in\/<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exam Fee: 2000(UR)\/1000(Others)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date: 28th July 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time: Paper I &#8211; \/ &#8220;Not Competent\u201d or \u201cFail.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The following subjects shall be evaluated during NExT Step 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Medicine and allied subjects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Surgery and allied subjects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Obstetrics and Gynaecology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pediatrics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ophthalmology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orthopedics and Physical Medicine &amp; Rehabilitation (PMR)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The time schedule and modalities of NEXT Step 2 shall be decided by the National Medical Commission and the respective authorized Universities \/ Institutions after completions of internship and prior to the admission process for the Postgraduate Courses of that year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The time schedule of the entire process of NExT Examination, internship and admission for broad specialty Postgraduate courses shall be announced by the Commission and other bodies authorized by the Commission.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conduction of mock \/ Practice Test :<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is decided to conduct a mock\/practice test on 28th July 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration for the same will start on 28th June 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This examination will be conducted by AIIMS Delhi as a designated authority for NExT Step 1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only final year students pursuing M.B.B.S. courses in the medical colleges\/ institutions are eligible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for such mock\/practice test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aim of such test is to familiarize the prospective candidates with the Computer Based Test (CBT), software interface and process flow in the examination center. The sample questions in the Mock\/Practice will only exemplify pattern and format of the NExT-Step 1 examination.
