The Vidyarthi Varg is not merely an event \u2013 it is a confluence of ideas, values, inspiration, and guidance for young medicos who wish to dedicate themselves to both the service of health and the service of the nation.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the <strong>ritual of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalmedicosorganisation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NMO<\/a><\/strong>, before any intellectual journey begins, the collective spirit is invoked through the <strong>NMO Mantra<\/strong>. With folded hands and united voices, the hall echoed with the mantra, immediately infusing a sense of discipline, spirituality, and belongingness among the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prelude to the Varg \u2013 15th August Evening<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the official dates were 16th and 17th August, the event informally began on the <strong>evening of 15th August 2025<\/strong>. This session served as an ice-breaker for participants arriving from across the country. An <strong>introduction session<\/strong> was held where each participant introduced themselves, creating the first layer of bonding. Along with this, the organisers discussed the <strong>schedule and itinerary<\/strong> for the two days ahead. This informal meet allowed participants to settle in, understand what was coming, and carry forward a sense of camaraderie into the following days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Day 1 \u2013 16th August 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The morning of the 16th was charged with positivity and discipline. At <strong>6:00 am sharp<\/strong>, the sound of the wake-up whistle resonated across the accommodation, followed by mantra chanting over the loudspeaker. This unique morning call awakened not only the body but also the spirit of seva and discipline. After freshening up, participants gathered in the <strong>Bhojnalaya<\/strong>, where tea and coffee were served.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>7:00 am<\/strong>, everyone assembled for the <strong>Prarthana session<\/strong> on the ground. This collective prayer session, under the open sky, instilled devotion and togetherness. By <strong>8:00 am<\/strong>, participants had breakfast, and soon after, they prepared to enter the formal proceedings of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Inaugural Ceremony<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/medcollegedarshan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/inaugration-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6458\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medcollegedarshan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/inaugration-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/medcollegedarshan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/inaugration-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medcollegedarshan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/inaugration-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/medcollegedarshan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/inaugration-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/medcollegedarshan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/inaugration-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>9:00 am sharp<\/strong>, the participants, volunteers, and dignitaries gathered in the conference hall. The programme commenced with the collective singing of the <strong>NMO Song<\/strong>, a melodious and motivating anthem that reminded all of the organisation\u2019s motto and values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>inaugural ceremony<\/strong> was a grand affair. The ceremonial lamp was lit by eminent dignitaries \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sri N Tippeswamy Ji (Chief Guest)<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. B.N. Gangadhar Ji (Guest of Honour)<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Ashwani Tandon (General Secretary, NMO)<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Punit Agarwal (Organising Secretary)<br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Anshita Mishra (Vidyarthi Pramukh)<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Kumar Angadi (Joint Organising Secretary)<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Satish Kumar S (President, NMO Karnataka)<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Hemanth M (Vice President, NMO Karnataka)<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Vani Shree Ji<\/strong>, along with many more stalwarts.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The dignitaries addressed the gathering, expressing the importance of the varg and motivating young medicos to imbibe the values of NMO. The words of <strong>Sri N Tippeswamy Ji<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Ashwani Tandon Ji<\/strong> left a deep impact on the audience, as they set the tone for what was to follow \u2013 two days of intense learning, reflection, and growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>First Baudhik Session \u2013 \u201cKaryakarta\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first intellectual session was delivered by <strong>Dr. Vijendra Kumar (Prof. &amp; Head, Pediatric Surgery, IGIMS Patna)<\/strong> and chaired by <strong>Dr. Aruna Vanikar<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. M.K. Ramesh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The topic was <strong>\u201cKaryakarta\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 the very foundation of organisational work. Dr. Vijendra Kumar explained how a Karyakarta should live and act in real life. He highlighted qualities such as humility, selflessness, being a torchbearer, and always respecting one\u2019s team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A striking line from his talk stayed with everyone:<br><em>\u201cWhen you overcome \u2018I\u2019 and think of \u2018We\u2019, only then your life will be in peace.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He reminded participants that selfishness and social welfare are two faces of the same coin and that the real enemy of a Karyakarta is not the outside world, but one\u2019s own uncontrolled mind. He quoted Swami Vivekananda ji\u2019s inspiring lines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>\u201cHappiness is a state of mind; it has nothing to do with the external world.\u201d<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>\u201cThe only enemy you face is your uncontrolled mind.\u201d<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>He also identified the three major troubles a Karyakarta may face: <strong>past regrets, future fears, and present tensions<\/strong>. Participants were guided on how to effectively conduct an NMO meeting. With a teacher, coordinator, and observer guiding the session, the following order of meetings was established:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introduction<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agenda\/Motive of the meeting<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Q&amp;A<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3M (Money, Man, Machine)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Challenges (conflict resolution, language barriers, managing participation)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conclusion<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most important points highlighted was that every meeting must aim to <strong>add at least one new member<\/strong>, ensuring continuous growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Second Baudhik Session \u2013 How to Give NMO Parichay<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Delivered by <strong>Dr. Vishwambhar Singh (Prof. &amp; Head, ENT, IMS BHU)<\/strong> and chaired by <strong>Dr. Ashwani Tandon<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Vani Shree Ji<\/strong>, this session focused on how to introduce NMO to someone unfamiliar with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He explained that a non-member may ask many questions \u2013 and every member should be prepared with clear, confident answers. For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why Dhanvantri Bhagwan in the logo?<\/strong> \u2192 Because he is the God of health and happiness in our civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why Swastik?<\/strong> \u2192 It signifies <em>\u201cArogyam Sukhinam\u201d<\/em> (well-being of all).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why Swami Vivekananda as an icon?<\/strong> \u2192 Because he is Bharat\u2019s youth icon and the one who first presented Indian thought to the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why join NMO?<\/strong> \u2192 It is the only organization that brings medicos together for the nation\u2019s good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does the NMO symbol signify?<\/strong> \u2192 The saffron flag is as sacred as fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the motto of NMO?<\/strong> \u2192 <em>Swasthya Seva, Rashtra Seva<\/em> \u2013 serving the nation through health service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does NMO do?<\/strong> \u2192 Health camps, awareness drives, conferences, Abhyas Varg, CME programs, cultural activities, Nutan Chhatra Abhinandan, Vriksha Ropan, Cycle Yatra, Guru Purnima, Dhanvantri Puja, and more<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session concluded by empowering students with the confidence to represent NMO in their own circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ghat Charcha 2 \u2013 NMO Pravas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This discussion highlighted the concept of <em>Pravas<\/em> (outreach journeys). The purpose was to spread thoughts, connect people, and strengthen the organization. It was explained that Pravas could be <strong>planned<\/strong> or <strong>unplanned<\/strong>, but in both cases, one must keep in mind \u2013 travel, contacts, coordination, language, free-of-expectation attitude, and a learning mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The benefits of Pravas were listed as \u2013 improved communication, network building, resilience, leadership, time management, emotional intelligence, and national integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ghat Charcha 3 \u2013 Vidyarthi Jeevan and Sangathan Karya<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, the balance between academics and organizational work was discussed. Students must be diligent in their studies while also sparing time for NMO responsibilities. During exams, duties should be handed over to others. Above all, students must be role models in college, since they represent NMO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ghat Charcha 4 \u2013 Sampark se Karyakarta Tak<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This discussion revolved around the process of transforming an acquaintance into an active NMO member. Meeting, listening, understanding their mindset, keeping constant follow-up, and involving them in NMO activities were emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ghat Charcha 5 \u2013 Karyakram Yojna Sanchalan evam Sameeksha<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The session was about planning and executing events \u2013 covering pre-event preparation, smooth conduction, and post-event review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the end of Day 1, participants had not only learned but also actively discussed practical aspects of NMO\u2019s functioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Day 2 \u2013 17th August 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The second day began with the same refreshing routine \u2013 <strong>wake-up whistle, mantra chanting, tea\/coffee, Prarthana, and breakfast.<\/strong> Participants, now more familiar with each other, carried renewed energy into the conference hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Baudhik 3 \u2013 NMO Karyapranali<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The session was delivered by <strong>Dr. Yogendra Malik (Prof. Forensic Medicine &amp; Toxicology, BPSGMCW Sonipat)<\/strong> and chaired by <strong>Dr. Punit Agarwal<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Geeta Bharat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He explained the <strong>organisational structure of NMO<\/strong> in detail:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Membership \u2192 Karyakarta \u2192 Sakriya Dhakka \u2192 Sakriya Auto Mode \u2192 Unit \u2192 State Unit \u2192 Akhil Bhartiya Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He highlighted the <strong>guiding principles<\/strong> of NMO:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kutumb Bhav over hierarchy<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selection over election<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dayittva (responsibility) over post<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toli (collective) decision-making over individual decisions<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>His concluding advice included meditation, gratitude, staying close to nature, performing rituals, and keeping oneself spiritually nourished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ghat Charcha 6 \u2013 Daaitva Bodh<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This discussion highlighted the <strong>responsibility of an NMO member<\/strong> towards the nation, the society, and the medical fraternity. Participants discussed how to act responsibly in decision-making, how to avoid conflicts, and the importance of listening carefully before responding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Baudhik 4 \u2013 Dheyavadi Jeevan<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This session was conducted by <strong>Sri Sudhir Ji<\/strong> and chaired by <strong>Dr. Rajeev Singh<\/strong>. He explained that in every organisation there are three kinds of people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ordinary members<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Committed Karyakarta (mentally\/intellectually dedicated)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dheyavadi (life-committed individuals)<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>He highlighted the qualities of a Dheyavadi life: dedication, positive thinking, and maintaining a student-like mindset throughout life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He introduced the concept of <strong>WATCH<\/strong> \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>W \u2192 Words<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A \u2192 Actions<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>T \u2192 Thoughts<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>C \u2192 Character<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>H \u2192 Habits\/Hobbies<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>He beautifully concluded with the line:<br><em>\u201cA man with an ideal makes 100 mistakes, a man without an ideal makes 500 mistakes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Valedictory Session<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The final session was addressed by <strong>Sri Ramesh Pappa Ji<\/strong> and chaired by <strong>Dr. Punit Agarwal, Dr. Satish Kumar, and Dr. S. Sridhar<\/strong>. He congratulated <strong>NMO Karnataka<\/strong> for organising the varg successfully and praised the enthusiasm of participants. He also reflected upon his experiences of earlier Vidyarthi Vargs, providing continuity and perspective to the young medicos present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>4th Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Varg \u2013 2025<\/strong> ended on a note of inspiration, learning, and unity. Over the span of two days, participants were enriched with the values of leadership, responsibility, and dedication.
