Doctors Have the Right to Be Paid (Section 6)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Doctors must discuss their consultation and treatment fees with patients before providing medical care.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a patient <strong>refuses to pay<\/strong>, the doctor has the right to refuse treatment, except in <strong>emergencies or government hospital settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Doctors must ensure that <strong>patients are not abandoned<\/strong> even if they refuse treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Essential Medical Procedures Cannot Be Denied (Section 18)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Certain procedures like <strong>sterilization, contraception, circumcision, or termination of pregnancy<\/strong> should not be refused if they are medically necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A doctor\u2019s <strong>personal or religious beliefs<\/strong> cannot be a reason for refusal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Doctors Can Choose Patients, Except in Emergencies (Section 26)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A doctor can decide whom they will treat, but they <strong>must not refuse emergency cases<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once a doctor accepts a patient, they should provide <strong>proper care<\/strong> and must not <strong>abandon the patient<\/strong> without prior notice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a patient needs a specialist, they should be <strong>referred to another doctor<\/strong> with proper consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.
