The Allahabad High Court has dismissed a petition filed by NEET aspirant Ayushi Patel<\/strong> after uncovering that she submitted forged documents<\/strong> in her claim that the National Testing Agency (NTA)<\/strong> <\/a>failed to declare her results due to a torn OMR sheet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The single-judge bench of Justice Rajesh Singh Chauhan<\/strong> expressed disappointment over the submission of falsified documents by Ayushi Patel, calling it a “really sorry state of affairs.”<\/strong> She had alleged that her OMR sheet was torn and requested a manual evaluation and an inquiry against the NTA. She also sought to halt the ongoing NEET admission counseling process during the pendency of her petition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NTA, however, presented the original documents to the court, proving that Ayushi Patel’s OMR sheet was intact and not damaged<\/strong>. This revelation exposed the forgery, leading the court to dismiss the petition. Justice Chauhan remarked that the court could not prevent the competent authorities from taking legal action against Patel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background of the Case<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ayushi Patel initially claimed she had received a communication from the NTA stating that her result would not be declared because her OMR sheet was torn. She took her grievances to social media, sharing a video that criticized the NTA and detailing her allegations. Following this, she filed a writ petition with the Allahabad High Court, demanding a manual review of her OMR sheet and an inquiry into the NTA\u2019s handling of her case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
