Local hooligans unleashed violence on the Physician on Duty (POD), Surgeon on Duty (SOD), Post Graduates (PGs), and interns following the arrival of a deceased patient<\/em><\/strong>. This unprovoked attack resulted in physical injuries and significant trauma for the dedicated medical personnel who were simply performing their professional duties in the emergency ward of BMIMS Pawapuri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The healthcare sector is the backbone of society, especially during times of crisis. The assault on medical staff at BMIMS Pawapuri<\/a> is not just an isolated incident but a symptom of a larger problem \u2014 the vulnerability of healthcare workers to violence. It is imperative that the Bihar government takes decisive action to address this issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The IMA MSN Bihar has also written a letter to State Health Minister and Secretary for the immediate action.
