The data has revealed  significant contributions from top<strong> pharmaceutical giants to political parties<\/strong>. This disclosure has reignited discussions surrounding the ethics of corporate donations and the disparity in regulatory treatment between political funding and interactions with healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital<\/strong> emerged as the top buyer of electoral bonds, purchasing <strong>162 bonds valued at \u20b91 crore each, totaling to \u20b9162 crore<\/strong>. <strong>Dr. Reddy&#8217;s Laboratories<\/strong> acquired <strong>80 bonds worth \u20b91 crore each<\/strong> amounting to <strong>\u20b980 crore<\/strong>. Meanwhile, <strong>Mankind Pharma Limited<\/strong> made significant contributions totaling approximately <strong>\u20b924.6 crore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the shadow of controversy looms over these transactions, particularly in light of recent events involving <strong>Mankind Pharma Limited<\/strong>. The company found itself under the <strong>scrutiny of the Income Tax Department<\/strong>, which conducted raids on its premises on <strong>May 11<\/strong>, <strong>2023<\/strong> on allegations of tax evasion. Despite these developments, Mankind Pharma Limited asserted its full cooperation with the authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-electric-grass-gradient-background has-background\"> The contrast between the big donations to political parties and strict rules about how pharma companies can treat doctors has sparked a debate.
