With an expected inauguration between January 15 and 20, the 500-bed medical college and hospital, named after Lord Ram and Mata Sita, will serve the people of Samastipur. The land for the college, spanning 21 acres, was donated by Narghoghi Shriram Janaki Thakurbari. The foundation stone for this project was laid by Chief Minister <strong>Nitish Kumar <\/strong>on <strong>November 6, 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-to-vivid-red-gradient-background has-background\">The medical college, constructed at a cost of<strong> 674 crores<\/strong>, received funding of <strong>113.40 crores<\/strong> from the central government and <strong>478.37 crores<\/strong> from the state government. Plans include the construction of an auditorium on 10 acres of land. The college is set to admit <strong>100 students annually.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-amber-to-luminous-vivid-orange-gradient-background has-background\"><strong>Modern Facilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-background-color has-background\">The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a modern operation theater built using the latest technology. Advanced medical equipment, such as an ultrasound machine, CT scan, X-ray, and other devices, has been installed. A gas manifold system ensures a steady supply of oxygen to patients. Additionally, an oxygen plant is being set up within the hospital premises.
