Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Medical College and Hospital, Madhepura, was established in 2019, is a government medical college and hospital located at Madhepura, Bihar. This college offers the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) courses and has an annual intake capacity of 100. This college is affiliated with BUHS. Its area is spread over 25 acres of land. Earlier the name of this medical college was Government Medical College, Madhepura, which was renamed as Jannayak Karpuri Thakur Medical College and Hospital, Madhepura on 01.06.2015. The foundation stone of this medical college was laid on 16.03.2008. The hospital was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Nitish Kumar on 07.03.2020. The first batch of 100 MBBS students were enrolled in this medical college in 2020.
