“What Happened on July 8 ?” : NEET UG 2024 SC Hearing

Supreme court hearing on NEET UG 2024:

On July 8 a bench of three judges including the CJI D Y Chandrachud , Justice J B Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra hearing the pleas of regarding the NEET UG 2024 irregularities and malpractices. There were 38 pleas in total out of which some filled by students for re- NEET against the paper leak while some plea was also filled against re-NEET. NTA and Central government also filled their affidavits. NTA and government are not willing to conduct re-test. In its affidavit government said if the paper leak is proved to affect on mass level then only re-test to be conducted. Otherwise “Scraping the exam in entirety would seriously jeopardise the lakhs of honest candidates”. Here is the bullet points what happened inside the SC.
