Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the NMC recently assessed the Government Medical College and Hospital, Purnea (Bihar) for infrastructure, faculty, laboratories, library, hostel, hospital and received the approval for 100 MBBS seats for the academic session 2023-24.
After the addition of 100 new seats, the total number of seats has increased to 1,100 from 1,000 and the number of government college in the state is 10.
In view of the cutthroat competition in NEET UG 2023, this will definitely bring some hope for those student who are at the borderline of cutoff marks. Although this is just like a “drop of water in the ocean.”
