The Democratic Medical Association (DMA) has officially announced its Rajasthan State Team for the tenure 2026–2027, marking a significant step toward strengthening its organizational presence and advocacy at the grassroots level. The announcement, made through an official press release, reflects DMA’s commitment to building a structured and representative medical body that can effectively address the concerns of doctors, interns, and healthcare workers across the state.

The newly constituted team will function as the official state unit of DMA in Rajasthan and will work in close coordination with the national leadership to advocate for fair policies, resolve professional grievances, and promote the welfare, unity, and dignity of the medical fraternity.

Leading the Rajasthan team is Dr. Akshat Kumar (Jodhpur) as State President, supported by Dr. Nikita Bagwan (SPMC, Bikaner) and Dr. Shyam Sundar Tard (GMC, Hanumangarh) as State Vice Presidents. The administrative responsibilities will be handled by State General Secretaries Dr. Arun Kulhari (GMC, Sawai Madhopur) and Dr. Vikas Saharan (SPMC, Bikaner), along with State Joint Secretaries Dr. Yogesh Bairwa (SMS, Jaipur) and Dr. Gaurav Kejriwal (PDU-GMC, Churu).

The team further includes Dr. Ashok Chaudhary (GMC, Barmer) as State Spokesperson and Dr. Parveen Bishnoi (SMS, Jaipur) as State Convenor. In the academic and faculty leadership, Dr. Sheshav Somani (HOD, GMC Bhilwara), Dr. Jitendra Vishnoi (Delhi), and Dr. Vikas Kumar (Consultant Medicine, Rajgarh) have been appointed as State Faculty Heads, while Dr. Himanshu Verma (GMC, Shri Ganganagar) will serve as the State Academic Cell Head.

Additionally, several specialized roles have been assigned to strengthen various functional areas of the organization. The State Media and IT Cell will be led by Dr. Nikita Yadav (Jhalawar), Dr. Arpit Khandelwal (GMC, Alwar), and Dr. Murlidhar Yadav (GMC, Bundi). The State Mental Health Secretaries include Dr. Vikas Jangir (GMC, Dungarpur) and Dr. Vinod Gurjar (RNT, Udaipur), while Dr. Aryan Purohit (GMC, Barmer) has been appointed as State Intern Secretary.

The State Women Wing will be represented by Dr. Riya Sharma (GMC, Bhilwara) and Dr. Yashaswi (GMC, Bhilwara), with Dr. Krishna Upadhyay serving as State FMG Secretary. The State Medical Student Secretary positions have been assigned to Dr. Shivam Joshi (GMC, Bhilwara), Dr. Shabbir Ahmad (JLNMC, Ajmer), and Dr. Vikas Gurjar (GMC, Hanumangarh).

The announcement comes under the guidance of DMA’s national leadership, including Dr. Amit Vyas, National Chief and President, Dr. Shubh Pratap Solanki, Founder and National General Secretary, and Dr. Bhanu Kumar, Co-Founder and National Vice President. The leadership has extended its congratulations to all newly appointed members and has called upon the medical community across Rajasthan to support the team in achieving its objectives.

With a diverse and dynamic group of professionals taking charge, the DMA Rajasthan State Team 2026–27 is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening medical advocacy, improving working conditions, and fostering unity among healthcare professionals, reinforcing the organization’s mission of moving forward stronger, united, and focused.
